Czechs and Slovaks are ready to allow the refugees to get to Germany
The Czech Republic and Slovakia are ready to consider ensuring a railway corridor for the refugees heading to Germany, if Berlin and Budapest can reach an agreement on how to handle the wave of refugees – the Ministries of Interior of the two countries announced on Friday.
“If Germany promises to accept and not to send back the Syrian refugees registered in another EU member state, we are ready to open a railway corridor, in the case that Hungary and Germany reach an agreement,” Milan Chovanec Minister of the Interior of the Czech Republic announced after negotiating with his Slovak colleague Robert Kalinak.
